Canada has one of the best education systems in the world. The tuition fees in the country’s colleges are also affordable, as they are one of the lowest among the English speaking countries. There are a number of good quality educational institutions in the country that offer degrees having worldwide recognition. The degrees offered range from technical to professional disciplines. To make the educational process smoother, students from abroad have been given the option of working for one year after they have completed their graduation. However, at present students can work on campus and do not need a work permit. Plans are afoot to allow international students to work outside the campus also.
Political stability and a peaceful atmosphere in the country are another factor why students increasingly prefer Canada. The peaceful atmosphere in Canada has been instrumental in students selecting the country as their higher education destination.
All overseas students are required to obtain a Student Authorization and Visa before going to Canada for studies. Students must also meet the requirements of the Canadian Immigration Act and Regulations. Under normal circumstances, allow at least two months for your visa to be processed.
Submit the completed application kit to the immigration section of the Canadian High commission. Please note that all the documents submitted, must be either original or photocopies notarized and witnessed by a notary public or a magistrate or the Canadian Immigration Officer, and be accompanied by a duplicate copy.
